ChinaLeadersForum.com), October 6, New York City. 2nd Chinese leadership forum will review the challenges faced by companies operating in capital markets and mechanisms for private equity world's second largest economy by 2025, and the threats and opportunities posed to multinationals interested in advantage of the current wave of Chinese globalization.Mr.Wang was most recently a Managing Director and Co-Chief of Collins Stewart banking group in China. Previously, he was at Merriman Curhan Ford & Co., where he co-lead initiative of the banking business in China. Previously he was director of Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. 's investment banking group where he focused on advising middle market Chinese companies seeking to participate in U.S. capital markets. Prior to joining Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., Mr. Wang was involved in Mergers & Acquisitions group at Peter J. Solomon Company. In 1998, he founded and served as CFO of RetailCo Inc., a leading sports retailer based in Shanghai with over 300 employees and 50 stores across China. The main assets RetailCo were successfully sold in 2006 to a shoe retailer in Hong Kong listed. Mr. Wang began his career in the restructuring and investment bank in New York with Arthur Andersen LLP and Barington Capital Group, LP, respectively.
